The project is shaped by the site’s boundaries, whose varying orientations give rise to an irregular plan. Set parallel to the street frontage and significantly recessed from it, the house initially presents itself as a single-storey volume. Only at the rear, following the natural southward slope of the site, does the partially buried lower floor gradually reveal itself.

Resting on a concrete plinth, the house establishes a natural relationship with the existing topography. Extending beyond the built volume, this base forms a generous outdoor platform framed by the swimming pool, creating the project’s main outdoor living spaces.

The upper floor is organised in an L-shaped plan, opening generously to the south to take full advantage of solar exposure and views towards the pine forest. The lateral walls extend into the landscape, resolving the changes in level and defining the overall composition. From this geometry emerge both the pool platform and the lower floor, which is set back to ensure greater privacy.

Between these two elements, a central outdoor space is created, around which the house is organised. Acting as the focal point of the project, it reinforces the continuity between architecture, landscape, and topography.
